Simply put, the Colts are LOADED. With the exception of State runner-up AJ Falcone and State-qualifier Jacob Howland, just about everyone is back from last year's #1 team in the Shore and #4 team in the state. And with an extremely talented group of freshmen coming in, and the arrival of Sonny DiMatteo from Brick Memorial, this is looking to be a special team this season.
For the freshmen names you may not know, Shiloh Joyce was an Intermediate State Champ who has placed in numerous national tournaments, as has Colton Quinn, while Santino Edgar and Tristan Dee are bout Intermediate States medalists. Joyce, Edgar, and Dee fit right in to solidify the lowerweights, while Quinn will be battling in the room with guys like Will Sakoutis, James Jakub, and Brendan Boyer, as he looks to contribute in that 150-165 range.
This is just a stacked roster that looks primed to go to battle with the other non-public powers for the spot as the top team in New Jersey, and not looking TOO far ahead, a team that should be well represented on the Boardwalk Hall podium.
