2025 Keyport Red Raiders

2024 Record: 3-14

The Red Raiders' numbers are up and will have close to a full lineup this season. While there's just a few seniors in the room, more than half of the room has saw varsity action last year, giving Keyport one of those most experienced varsity lineups they've had in quite some time.

A couple of 20-match winners return in seniors Max Fredericks and Derek Ferm. Fredericks, a 4-year starter, is coming off a 21-win season, and has registered 35 victories over the last two seasons. He will anchor an upperweight group that also includes returning starters junior Brian Moody, and sophomores Jason Geraldi and Max Szczepaniak who will be using the experienced gained from starting as freshman to get to the next level in 2025.

Down low, Ferm, who won 20 matches in 2024, is also a 4-year starter. He's joined by 3-year starters Daniel Metrick, Vincent Geraldi, and Axsel Ferm, giving the Red Raiders a nice group of veterans to break in some new starters around.

With the amount of experienced varsity wrestlers Keyport has in the room this season, and the fact they are going to be able to put out almost a complete lineup, the Raiders are looking to increase their win totals from the last few years. With not many seniors, the Raiders are aiming for a bright future with this young group.
