An experienced senior class with some heavy hitters, and group of sophomores looking to build off their freshmen seasons, Neptune looks to be a team trending up in 2026.

The Fliers have two returning State qualifiers in the lineup this season, in seniors Jaraiya Jean and Kson Young. Jean, a 4-year starter, is a 2-time District medal winner and punched his ticket to Atlantic City last season after finishing 4th in Region 6 at heavyweight. Jean is a hammer in the upperweights for the Fliers and is joined by returning starters and fellow seniors Michael Martinez and Elijah Morgan, to give the team a veteran trio up top as some new starters are broken into the lineup.

Young joins the lineup after transferring over from Brick Memorial where he was a District Champion last season before advancing to AC after finishing 2nd at Regions. He gives an immediate boost to the lowerweights. Keep an eye on sophomore Kamore Tyler down low. The sophomore won 14 bouts last season and finished 4th at Districts and should reap tremendous benefits getting to work in the room with Young every day.

Add in returning seniors Alex Hernandez, who finished 4th at Districts, and Jahkiy Simon, who have both been in the lineup since their freshmen seasons, and the Fliers have a nice veteran group to break in the newcomers around.
