Six Rams won individual titles, including senior Wyatt Stout who won his fourth District title, joining Glenn Carson, Brian Broderick, and Luke Lanno as Southern Regional's 4-timers. Junior Anthony Mason kept pace in his bid to join that group, winning the 113-pound weight class for his third title. Senior Scottie Sari won his second title, as did junior Attila Vigilante, while senior Noah Fontana and sophomore Levi Foote claimed their firsts, as the Rams added to their all-time District total to 159, fourth most in the Shore Conference.

2024 Record: 18-2 (Group 5, SJG5, District 25, & A-South Champions)
A mix of standout veteran talent, some elevated members of the depth chart ready to make their mark in the lineup, and yet another promising crop of newcomers from the Stafford feeder program, have the Rams looking to maintain their position as the state's top public school program.
There will be some new faces down low for the Rams, and they have a solid core to break into the lineup around. Junior Anthony Mason has racked up 71 wins through his first two seasons, and is coming off a sophomore season in which he finished 2nd in the State at 106. Sophomore Cash McVey put together a terrific debut season, hitting the 30-win mark on his way to a trip to Atlantic City. Senior Sam Pari was a District medal winner for the Rams as a freshman. He missed most of last season with an injury. Seniors Hunter Borer and Mike Napolitano are among those looking to step up with larger roles after spending the previous seasons on that loaded Southern depth chart, while freshmen like Cade Collins, a Youth State Champ and Super 32 placer, and Henry Zimmerman, a multi-time Youth State placer, will look to make immediate impacts in the lineup.
Seniors Bryce Manera, Scottie Sari, and Wyatt Stout lead the charge in the middle. Manera, who will attend Bucknell next year, has 85 career wins. He was 4th in the State last year at 132, and was the District 25 and Region 7 Champ. Sari has been a sometimes overlooked presence in these loaded Southern lineups, but all he's done through his career is come up with HUGE WINS, win 88 matches, win 3 District medals, and twice advance to Atlantic City. Stout, who has committed to Penn, is 3-time District & Region Champ, and is a 2-time State Medalist with 102 career wins. Also back in the middle is junior Attila Vigilante, who was 17-4 last year, and the District 25 Champion at 126.
Up top, Army-commit senior Hayden Hochstrasser is a 2-time State Medalist, finishing 8th as a sophomore and 3rd last season. He begins the year needing just 7 more wins to reach 100 for his career. He's joined by Noah Fontana, a 3-time District medal winner who made it to AC in 2023, and Caleb Counts, who took 3rd at Districts last year, as returning senior starters. Sophomore Levi Foote showed off his potential for the Rams, contributing where needed in the lineup from 175 to 215, working behind the since graduated Mitch Bivona, Bradford Birch, and Collin French (who all wrestled on the boardwalk in March). He will no doubt be ready to be a force in the upperweights for Southern. Another one of the Rams' freshmen to watch is Niko Iliescu, who placed 3rd at Intermediate States last year at 175.
The Rams are once again loaded and look poised for another big year. They are prepared to do battle in the loaded A-Division alongside non-public powers CBA & St John Vianney, Group 2 Champ Rumson, and longtime A-South rival Brick Memorial. Come the postseason, the goal is to claim their third straight Group 5 Title and keep their spot as the top ranked public program in the state, while pushing as many wrestlers through to Atlantic City come the individual postseason.
