The Bengals are coming off a historic season that saw them capture the first divisional title in program history. Eight starters, and a good portion of the supporting cast, are back as the Bengals look to continue their winning ways as they step up into the F-Division this season.

A wealth of experience from last year's championship team returns down low. Senior Gregory Mamola, juniors, Michael Baccigalupi, Nicholas Speer, and Nicolas Santos, and sophomore Casey Bonnett were all double-digit winners last year, and along with some of the depth wrestlers from last season that are looking to take on bigger roles this year, give Barnegat nice depth down low.

The upper half of the lineup is anchored by senior co-captains Jayden Nieto and Gerald Miller. Nieto was second on the team in wins last season with 26, and made it to Regions following a 3rd place finish in a loaded District 26 last year. Miller won 20 bouts last year, and was a win away from the Regions. Keep an eye on Charles Black up top as a sophomore looking to build off the experience gained as a freshman last season.

Coming off their first divisional championship season, the returning are Bengals are by no means content to rest on their laurels. The team is continuing to put the work in that got them to the top of the division last year, and cement itself as a program on the rise.
