A young team last year that saw ten freshmen get varsity time gets a year older. The lineup is very sophomore/junior heavy with some promising freshmen knocking on the door for a chance to contribute, and a few proven seniors to provide veteran leadership for a program looking to build consistency and looking to win.

The bulk of the veteran leadership comes from the upper part of the lineup where senior Jason Huss, a 30-match winner in 2025, projects to be at 165 for the Bucs. Huss is a 2-time District medal winner who enters the season with 78 career wins, giving him a chance to be come the fourth wrestler in program history to reach 100 career wins. A solid 4-year starter for RBR, Huss will be looking to cap his run with a trip to AC. Fellow returning starter seniors Carter Diaz and Keegan Farry also return, and another senior, John McManus, returns to the lineup after missing last season. Sophomore George Stiles and junior Stepan Harutyunyan are also returning starters, giving Red Bank a pretty experienced group of upperweights.

The middle of the lineup features another returning senior starter, John Galligan. Galligan enters his 4th season in the lineup and is coming off a 20-win season in which he placed 3rd at Districts. Juniors Evan Haelig and Joseph Romero are looking to build saw extended varsity action last season and will be looking to build off that experience, while sophomore Colton Hughes is another of the several Bucs that started as freshmen last season and are looking to take the next step.

Down low, three more starters return in junior Harold Biello and sophomores Luke Sena and Davis Watkins, who advanced to Regions after placing 3rd at Districts last season.

The Bucs are a young team looking to build the program. The building up extends to the feeder level too as the middle school program has restarted after dissolving during Covid. While the building process continues, there are seniors here capable of making postseason noise, and some young guys as well, while the team also looks to be competitive in the F-Division race.
