#3 Middletown North (15-4) vs. #6 JFK-Iselin (16-0)
Wrestlers To Watch
Watchung Hills: 106: (Fr) Anthony DiAndrea (28-1) / 126: (Jr) Jordan Bash (R-6th / 21-6) / 150: (Sr) Christian Calvo (NJ-WB1 / 23-1) / 157: (Sr) Harry Liu (NJ-WB1 / 24-5) / Hwt: (Sr) Hunter Seubert (NJ-WB1 in 2021 / 17-3)

Outlook: North Hunterdon has won the last two NJ2G4 Sectional Titles. They have some big time talent spread throughout the lineup, and while they may be a little vulnerable in some spots, they're battle-tested this season, and have the winning pedigree that makes them the favorite here.
Watchung Hills & Middletown North are expected to get past their opening round opponents. Yes, North faces an undefeated JFK-Iselin in the opener, but Iselin has not wrestled a very tough schedule compared to the other qualifiers. The strength of Iselin's lineup matches right with North's, so that could be interesting to watch. Hills & North have a common Shore Conference opponent in Howell. The Rebels defeated the Warriors by 11, and the Lions by 1, a week apart. If we do get the Watchung Hills / Middletown North matchup, it sets up a potential meeting between two of the top 106-pounders in the state in the Warriors' talented freshman Anthony DiAndrea, and the Lions' Brady Klinsky.

CJG5 at Hillsborough
#2 Hillsborough (18-3) vs. #7 East Brunswick (11-8)
#3 Howell (19-6) vs. #6 Edison (16-3)
Wrestlers To Watch
Hillsborough: 106: (So) Logan McDermid (D-4th / 24-5) / 165: (Sr) Jack Miller (NJ-WB3 / 25-3) / 190: (Sr) Joe Witcoski (R-5th / 26-1) / 215: (Jr) Matt Jones (NJ-WB1 / 19-3) / Hwt: (Sr) Christian Quandt (R-WB1 / 23-4)
East Brunswick: 106: (Fr) Dominick Lezark (23-6) / 126: (Jr) Aedan Samson-Higgins (R-PQ / 23-6) / 150: (Sr) Bailey Cuomo (R-PQ / 21-9) / 190: (Jr) Russell Novak (D-4th / 21-9)
Howell: 120: (So) Xavier Ortega (NJ-WB3 / 23-4) / 126: (Jr) Sebastian Ortega (NJ-WB4 / 24-3) / 132: (Jr) Giovanni Scafidi (NJ-WB4 / 17-2) / 144: (Sr) Kieran Bruen (NJ-WB2 / 24-5) / 190: (Sr) DJ Henry (NJ-WB4 / 23-4)
Edison: 126: (Sr) Julien Dawson (R-6th / 29-0) / 132: (Sr) Stevens Vazquez (D-4th / 10-7) / 190: (Sr) Hany Ghazy (D-4th / 14-6)
Outlook: Hunterdon Central is arguably the 3rd-best public in the state behind Southern & Delsea, although there are a few teams that would also probably like to have a word on that. They wrestle a great schedule, have talent throughout the lineup, and have been one of the state's most successful teams in the Sectionals over the years. As a side note, the last year the Red Devils didn't win in the Sectionals in an odd-numbered year was 2009. Old Bridge has had a great season, and you could argue they may be the 2nd best team headed into this Section. They have some hammers in their lineup, but just might not have enough guns to topple the Red Devils.
Hillsborough and Howell will be expected to meet in the semis. Hillsborough gets overlooked a bit by some of the more traditional powers up in the Skyland Conference, but have had a very strong year, and are particularly tough up top. Howell got off to a slow start this season, but have really picked things up as the year has moved on and they have gotten healthier. Will be very interesting to see how they perform here now that things look like they have started to come together lineup-wise.
Central Jersey Group 4
Sectional Titles: Brick Memorial (17) / Jackson Memorial (10) / Long Branch (6) / Manalapan (4)
CJG4 at Brick Memorial
#1 Brick Memorial (14-4) vs. #8 Steinert (10-7)
#4 Long Branch (15-5) vs. #5 Princeton (15-5)
Wrestlers To Watch
Brick Memorial: 113: (So) Gavin Martin (R-6th / 15-8) / 132: (Sr) Anthony Santaniello (3x-NJ Finalist; NJ-1st in 2021 / 26-0) / 175: (So) Harvey Ludington (NJ-1st / 28-1) / 190: (So) Ben Szuba (16-8)
Steinert: 132: (Sr) Devin Liriano (17-7) / 190: (Jr) Dream Hemingway (20-5) / 215: (Sr) Louis Bilardo (R-PQ / 20-3)
Long Branch: 106: (Sr) Josh Renna (R-PQ / 23-7) / 120: (Sr) James Renna (R-WB1 / 19-11) / 144: (Sr) Joey Giordano (NJ-WB4 / 15-1) / 220: (So) Tyler Taylor (21-9)
Princeton: 113: (Fr) Atticus Ayres (16-6) / 120: (So) Cole Rose (R-WB1 / 24-5) / 132: (So) Blase Mele (NJ-WB1 / 25-2) / 138: (Sr) Martin Brophy (R-WB1 / 19-4)
CJG4 at Jackson Memorial
#2 Jackson Memorial (12-6) vs. #7 Hightstown (12-10)
#3 Manalapan (20-5) vs. #6 Colts Neck (15-8)
Wrestlers To Watch
Jackson Memorial: 113: (Jr) Jason Seda (NJ-WB2 / 18-4) / 126: (Jr) Jonathan Espinosa (NJ-WB1 / 14-11) / 132: (Sr) Lucas LiPari (R-6th / 13-6) / 150: (Jr) Cael Huxford (NJ-WB1 / 5-1) / 165: (Sr) Luke Hamann (R-5th / 26-2) / Hwt: (Sr) Ryan Fischer (R-6th / 25-0)
Hightstown: 113: (Jr) Jack Kane (20-9) / 126: (So) Christopher Cropanese (R-PQ / 23-6) / 150: (Jr) Devron Lewis (R-PQ) / 25-4) / Hwt: (So) Sterling Newlin (21-8)
Manalapan: 113: (Jr) Andrew Mucciolo (R-WB1 / 23-4) / 120: (Sr) Anthony Vitola (R-WB1 / 22-4) / 132: (Sr) Vincent DePierro (NJ-WB3 / 22-4) / Hwt: (Sr) Artem Reinikov-Jouk (19-3)
Colts Neck: 106: (Fr) Ethan Michaels (22-5) / 144: (Jr) Tyler Russ (NJ-WB1 / 20-4) / 165: (Sr) Joe Layton (R-5th / 20-3) / 190: (Jr) Amir Shakhnavazov (R-WB1 / 21-6)
Outlook: One of two Sections with five Shore teams, it would be a mild upset if the finals and semis are not an all-Shore event. Princeton and Hightstown have some good talent, but probably don't have the overall depth to take out Long Branch and Jackson Memorial. The potential Brick Memorial and Long Branch semi could be very good, as the Green Wave appear to match up pretty well with the defending CJG4 Champion Mustangs.
Jackson Memorial very well could have beaten Brick Memorial earlier this season, but a 10-point swing during the match was a difference maker. The Jags received a big boost to the lineup since then, with the return of Cael Huxford to the lineup, who was injured back on opening week.
Manalapan has had some lineup issues over the last two weeks, if they're 100%, they are legit in contention here. If they're not, Colts Neck has a shot at reversing their 48-23 loss from earlier this season.
Central Jersey Group 3
Sectional Titles
South Plainfield (18) / Ocean Township (8) / Somerville (3) / Middlesex (2) / Robbinsville (1)
CJG3 at Hopewell Valley
#1 Hopewell Valley (15-4) vs. #8 Somerville (7-12)
#4 Ocean Township (11-7) vs. #5 Allentown (8-7)
Wrestlers To Watch
Hopewell Valley 106: (So) Dean Meissner (22-5) / 120: (So) Luke Caldwell (R-WB1 / 17-10) / 150: (So) Konrad Haugeto (19-8) / 157: (Sr) Tim McKeown (R-5th / 21-8) / 165: (Sr) Landon Schafer (19-8) / 190: (Jr) Chase Overman (22-6)
Somerville: 120: (Sr) Joe Aldrich (NJ-WB2 / 26-2) / 144: (Sr) Lucas Marchese (D-4th / 27-1) / 157: (Jr) Ryan Closterman (R-WB1 / 175: (Jr) Fabian Acuna (R-WB1 / 16-3)
Ocean Twp: 126: (Fr) Steven Perez (19-4) / 132: (So) Boomer Volek (22-5) / 144 (Jr) James Farina (NJ-WB1 / 22-2) / 165: (Jr) Michael Poniros (24-4)
Allentown: 113: (So) Charles Case (R-WB1 / 27-0) / 120: (So) Connor Urig (D-4th / 19-7) / 190: (Sr) Luke Cox (21-5) / 215: (Jr) Pasquale Stanco (21-6)
CJG3 at South Plainfield
#2 South Plainfield (9-5) vs. #7 Middlesex (8-11)
#3 Robbinsville (17-6) vs. #6 Lawrence (15-7)
Wrestlers To Watch
South Plainfield: 106: (Fr) Joseph Stanzione (16-6) / 120: (So) Nicholas Irizarry (R-WB1 / 15-10) / 132: (Sr) Andrew Loniewski (R-6th / 23-5) / 144: (Sr) JJ Giordano (NJ-7th / 23-3) / 150: (Jr) Nicholas Campagna (NJ-8th / 19-2) / 165: (Sr) Justus Niemeyer (21-5)
Middlesex: 120: (Fr) Dominick McQuone (20-7) / 132: (Jr) Sam Kleiber (18-9) / 150: (Sr) RJ Stradling (R-PQ / 25-4)
Robbinsville: 106: (Jr) Blaise Grippa (D-4th / 24-1) / 126: (Jr) Anthony Viscido (NJ-WB1 / 24-0) 138: (Sr) Dylan Cifrodelli (16-4) / 144: (So) Alex Messinger (D-4th / 22-4) / 175: (Jr) Richard Esterly (R-WB1 / 25-1)
Lawrence: 120: (Fr) Steve Ham (20-5) / 165: (Jr) Omar Ebrahim (R-PQ / 20-2) / 175: (Sr) Matt Melchior (R-WB1 / 18-4) / 215: (Sr) Mohamed Abdelatty (NJ-WB2 / 15-3)
Outlook: South Plainfield has won 7 Sectional Titles in a row, and 11 of 12. They're not the powerhouse this year they've typically been over they years, but they still have a lot of talent and are the team to beat. Robbinsville has had a strong year, but have been dealing with injury issues.
In the top bracket, top-seeded Hopewell Valley has never won a Sectional Title. Ocean Township and South Plainfield have been a thorn in their side in this Section over the years, and little would be sweeter than to go though both to get that elusive title. After a slow start to the season, Ocean has won 10 of 11 heading into the Sectionals. If they can defeat Allentown, they seemingly match up well with Hopewell, but might not have the horses against a slightly more balanced Bulldogs lineup.
Central Jersey Group 2
Sectional Titles
Raritan (4) / Delran (2) / Pt Boro (2) / Cinnaminson (1) / Wall (1)
CJG2 at Raritan
#1 Raritan (19-5) vs. #8 Spotswood (9-10)
#4 Rumson (8-8) vs. #5 Delran (11-10)
Wrestlers To Watch
Raritan: 126: (Sr) Ryan Mansueto (NJ-WB2 / 27-3) / 132: (So) Alex Delaurier (24-2) / 138: (Sr) Zach Reilley (NJ-WB2 / 28-1) / 144: (Sr) Braden Kmak (NJ-WB1 / 26-4) / 190: (Sr) Kieran Falzon (D-4th / 24-5)

CJG2 at Pt Boro
#2 Pt Boro (13-1) vs. #7 Holmdel (15-8)
#3 Cinnaminson (14-8) vs. #6 Wall (5-8)
Wrestlers To Watch
Pt Boro: 106: (So) Joey DeAngelo (NJ-WB2 / 24-2) / 113: (So) Frankie Burgio (NJ-WB2 / 22-4) / 138: (Sr) Nate Fletcher (20-6) / 150: (Jr) Ryan Acquisto (R-5th / 25-4) / 157: (Sr) Jack Thompson (NJ-WB4 / 21-4)
Holmdel: 106: (So) Rowen Blackmore (R-PQ / 19-10) / 150: (Jr) AJ Todisco (R-PQ / 22-7) / 157: (So) Jack Cleary (R-PQ / 22-6) / 175: (Fr) Alex Reyes (27-3) / 190: (Sr) John Steele (R-PQ / 21-3)
Cinnaminson: 106: (Fr) Dominic Marino (24-6) / 126: (So) Dylan Vallone (R-WB1 / 20-4) / 138: (Sr) Patrick Ghegan (25-5) / 165: (Sr) Isaiah Ruiz (R-PQ / 25-4) / Hwt: (Jr) Luke Smith (23-7)
Wall: 106: (So) Michael DiBiase (NJ-WB1 / 22-5) / 150: (Jr) Donovan DiStefano (NJ-WB4 / 20-1) / 157: (Sr) Will Kinsella (19-6) / Hwt: (Sr) Kei'sun Sanders (20-3)
Outlook: Raritan enters the Sections as the favorite to repeat as Group 2 Champions. So, obviously, they're the favorites here. Rumson has had lineup issues all season long that derailed what looked to be a very promising season before ever really got going.
Holmdel and Wall have some big talent, but probably don't have the depth to pull off the first round upsets. Cinnaminson is an interesting team. They have some proven talent in the lineup, but have some good balance too. It's a pretty young team, too, so this might be a test-drive season before they make a stronger run at it next year. Pt Boro has their hammers at 106 & 113, and is tough in the middle. They could make a run at this thing with a big performance from their uppers.
Central Jersey Group 1
Sectional Titles
Delaware Valley (20) / Manville (4) / New Providence (4) / Pt Beach (4) / Shore (1)
CJG1 at Delaware Valley

CJG1 at Shore Regional
#2 Shore (11-8) vs. #7 New Providence (6-15)
#3 Pt Beach (12-9) vs. #6 Metuchen (8-9)
Wrestlers To Watch
Shore: 120: (Sr) Domenic Demarzo (22-6) / 150: (Sr) Ty Koch (R-WB1 / 19-6) / 165: (Jr) Lucas White (14-5) / 215: (Sr) Bashaar Ismail (R-PQ / 20-3)
New Providence: 132: (Fr) Braedon Valley (20-7) / 157: (Fr) Brandon Papa (15-5) / 175: (Sr) Aidan Lazas (21-6)
Pt Beach: 113: (Sr) Aidan Loughran (17-8) / 120: (Jr) Luke DeBenedett (22-6 / 126: (So) PJ Niethe (R-PQ / 22-6) / 190: (Jr) Thomas Schulter (23-5)
Metuchen: 126: (So) Nate DeCoite (16-7) / 165: (So) Ben Michaliszyn (16-10) / 157: (Sr) Francisco Rossiter (NJ-WB1 / 22-3)
Outlook: Del Val is an enormous favorite here, and the strong favorite to take the whole thing in Group 1. The only questions is who they go through along the way. Keansburg draws Manville in their opener. Manville comes in at a clean 19-0. While they haven't exactly been taking out state powers, they have been punching up and knocking off Group 5's, 4's, and 3's.
Shore and Beach could be headed for a semifinal matchup where Beach will be looking to avenge to a 36-28 loss from their annual B-Central meeting.

Eastern: 132: (Sr) Gavin Heagle (NJ-WB4 / 22-3) / 165: (So) Nikita Alcoba (R-WB1 / 16-2) / 190: Jonathan Brennan (R-PQ / 19-6)
Outlook: Southern is an enormous favorite here. Not because it's a weak field, it's just because they're at that good right now. Both Rancocas Valley and Highland are good teams with solid lineups, and it's likely the winner of that match will be completely overwhelmed by the Rams in the semis.
State-ranked Washington Twp and Kingsway are expected to meet in the semis. Washington defeated Kingsway, 38-32, earlier in the season. The rematch should be equally good, but again, Southern awaits the winner.

Outlook: Defending champion Shawnee is the favorite. They've had some nice wins this year, including a stomping of Kingsway and a 20-point win over the #2 seed Moorestown. TR South draws a Hammonton team that is pretty tough down low. The Indians received a boost to the lineup this weekend with Ray Gardner returning.
TR East draws a Moorestown team that probably has just a little too much balance in their opener.

Pemberton: 113: (So) Carlos Hilton (21-9) / 138: (Sr) Willie Nunez (17-5) / 190: (Sr) Andrew Schemilia (27-1)
Outlook: For those that say Southern isn't the top public school in NJ, it's because they're going with Delsea. The Crusaders are stacked! They've won 11 Sectionals in a row, and 12 of 13, and are huge favorites in Group 4.
Lacey and Jackson Liberty appear to be headed towards a semifinal matchup. It would be a rematch from their regular season meeting, won by Lacey, 41-29.
South Jersey Group 2

Outlook: The story here is top-seeded Haddonfield looking to finally claim their first ever Sectional Title. They have already defeated West Deptford and Collingswood, and appear to be in as good a position ever to get that Sectional Championship.
Barnegat draws a tough West Deptford team with a great deal of balance, but is particularly tough up top.
