Sophomore Anthony Knox made it 2 State Titles in 2 years, as he steamrolled his way to the 120-pound State Title with 2 technical falls and 3 major decisions. Two of those major decisions came against former State Champions in the semis and finals. Jasiah Queen finished up his high school career with his 2nd State medal, finishing as the runner-up at 165 pounds. Queen, who ends his high school career with 108 victories, a pair of State medals, 4 Region medals (including a 1st place medal in 2023), and 2 District Titles, will continue his wrestling career at Drexel next season.
Also medaling for the Lancers were sophomore Patrick O'Keefe and freshman Matthew Gould, who both placed 8th. It was the 2nd medal for O'Keefe, who placed 2nd last season, while Gould is the 4th freshman to win a State medal for the Lancers since 2018.
2023 marks the 2nd straight season the Lancers had four State medal winners, and the 5th time in 6 seasons they had multiple State medalists.
