Wall: Four first-time champions and nine total medal winners helped pace the Knights to a 2nd-place finish as a team at this year's District 24 Tournament, just a half of a point behind champion Howell. It is their 13th straight Top 4 finish as a team at the Districts. The four champions makes it 12 seasons in a row with at least one District champ for the Crimson Knights, and boosts their all-time total to 140 champs, seventh most all-time in the Shore Conference. The nine total medal winners for Wall is their most since they sent 10 to the podium in 2020.

The Knights put up their first winning season since 2020, and while they lost a couple key pieces to that lineup in State medal winner Donovan DiStefano and District medalist Nicholas Wonsala, just about everyone else is back, and a very promising crop of freshmen arrive, as the Knights look to continue their rise back up the ranks in the Shore Conference.
Four starters from last year are back down low, led by a pair of returning District runner-ups in junior Omar Carrillo-Solano and senior Charlie Mahoney. For Mahoney, it was his 2nd District medal as he placed 3rd in 2023. Ben Waitzel enters his third season in the starting lineup. The junior was took 3rd at Districts as a freshman, and finished 4th in 2024. Sophomore Bryson Jarosz is the fourth returning starter down low. Back at 106, Jarosz will be looking to build off his freshman experience. Some other potential names to look for at 106 are senior Anthony Gallinari and sophomore AJ Virgilio.
The stretch of the lineup from 138-165 looks like it could be very tough, and deep, for the Knights. Sophomores Parker Quinn and Jeremy Marsella are both coming off solid freshman seasons. Quinn put up 29 wins and advanced to Atlantic City after taking 4th at Regions, while Marsella won 23 matches and finished 2nd at Districts. Seniors Joseph Matri and Joseph Donofrio can provide veteran leadership, having been a part of the varsity lineup since their freshmen seasons. Seniors Christian Benyola and Alex Garofalo, and junior Connor McAuliffe provide upperclassmen depth and flexibility to the lineup. There's some very promising freshmen in this range too in JSJWL A-Division Champions Mario DiStefano and Mike Boulard, who placed 6th at Intermediate School States, joining the mix.
Up top, Sophomore Jeremy Marsella is coming off a 23-win freshman season in which he advanced to the Regions after taking 2nd at Districts. Fellow sophomore James Interrante got some matches in last season, and will be working for a larger role this year. Returning starters Sean Cosme, a senior, and junior Eric Clauburg both finished 4th at Districts, and project to be to back at 190 and 215 again this season.
The Wall feeder program has been on the rise and has injected this lineup with some very promising talent the last two seasons, and there's more on the way. The Knights should be as deep as they've been in quite some and will give head coach Brian Fischer, who is just 12 wins away from reaching 200 career wins, a lot of lineup options. This has the potential to be a very strong team, and are going to a lot of teams problems with their talent and depth. The C-Division race between the Knights, Lacey, Jackson Liberty, Holmdel, and Colts Neck should be a fun one.
