Colts Neck: 33 Champions - Streak (8 Seasons) / 2 Team Titles (2024)

Ethan Michaels is looking to become the program's 2nd ever 3-time champion, joining Michael Jannucci (2017-2019). Michaels has 123 career wins, 2nd most in program history, and is a 2-time State qualifier. He is one of two #1 seeds for Colts Neck. Nicholas Zecchino (138) is the Cougars' other top seed. Zecchino was the D21 runner-up at 12 6 last season. Julian Fortunato (106), Matthew Anderson (157), Dean Natale (165), and Nicholas Jannucci (190) earned #2 seeds. ||||||||||
Howell: 166 Champions - Streak (20 Season) / 17 Team Titles (2025)
| Howell's 166 champions is 3rd most in Shore Conference history and the most for a Monmouth County team. Returning champs Tyler Going (#1 175) and Timmy O'Rourke (#1 at 190) both advanced to Atlantic City last season after placing 4th at Regions. Senior Ray Purrelli (#1 at 165) is a 2-time medal winner and finished 5th at Regions last year. A pair of freshmen earned top seeds as well for Howell: Justin Jani (106) and Sean Elliott (126). Returning State qualifier Shane Maghan is a 2-seed at 120, while freshmen Brady Little is #2 at 150 and Trevor Hodgins is #3 at 138. |
Manasquan: 29 Champions - Streak (2 Seasons) / 1 Team Title (1979)
| The Warriors will look to make it 3 years in a row with a champ, which would match their program high. Donovan Havard is the highest seed for Squan, getting the #1 at 132. Shane Kerstetter (126) and JP Sanders (138), who were both runners-up last year, earned #2 seeds. Kerstetter is going for his third medal. Shea Tracey (113), another runner-up from a year ago received a #3 seed, as did Torrin Tracey (157) who placed 3rd last season, Shane DePinto (144) and Ambrose Masonius (Hwt). |
Neptune: 73 Champions - Last (2023) / 6 Team Titles (1986)
| Heavyweight Jarairya Jean earned the #1 seed at heavyweight. He is the Fliers' lone seeded wrestler. Jean is a 2-time medal winner, and advanced to Atlantic City last season. Jean is looking to become Neptune's first champ since Quincy Esannason in 2023 and their first 3-time medal winner since Karl Waldron & Phil Seidle won 4 from 2010-2013. |
Pt Beach: 40 Champions - Last (2024) / 0 Team Titles
| The Gulls have had at least one finalist in each of the past 15 Districts. Gavin Sramowicz is Beach's highest seed, getting the #2 at 132. Brandon Stizza, who took 3rd last season, is a 3-seed at 126. Stizza led the Gulls in wins during the regular season with 31. |
Shore Regional: 31 Champions - Streak (1 Season) / 0 Team Titles
| Shore has had multiple medal winners for 12 consecutive seasons. Chris Gifford, who leads the Blue Devils in wins with 31, earned the highest seed for Shore, getting the #2 at 144. Cole Torres, a 2-time medal winner, and a champion last year, is seeded 3rd in tough 190 bracket. 2-time medal winner Trevor Doremus is the 5th seed in a very deep 113-pound bracket. |
Wall: 140 Champions - Streak (12 Seasons) / 9 Team Titles (2020)
Wall's 140 champions is 7th most in the Shore; 4th most in Monmouth County. Head coach Brian Fischer, who will be stepping down at the conclusion of the season, has coached 50 champs. The Knights' 9 team titles is 10th most all-time in the Shore; 7th most in Monmouth County. A trio of Knights received top seeds: Michael Boulard (144), Parker Quinn (150) Jeremy Marsella (157) Quinn, a State qualifier in 2024, and Boulard are both returning champions. Each placed 5th at Regions in 2025. Marsella was a runner-up in 2024, but did not place in Districts last season. Returning champ Omar Carrillo-Solano is seeded 2nd at 113, while another returning champ, Mason DiStefano, is seeded 4th in what could be a wide open 138-pound bracket. Eric Clauburg (2nd at Hwt), Bryson Jarosz (3rd at 120), and Russell Sage (3rd at 132) will try and win their second District medals. Each placed 3rd last year. |
| Howell has won 4 consecutive team titles, with the last two coming by narrow margins (2.5 points over Middletown North in 2024, and just a half-point over Wall last year). They're a pretty large favorite to make it 5 in a row, without the down to the wire math this time around. Wall and Colts Neck look to be the top contenders for the #2 spot, while Manasquan should put up some good numbers as well. | ||||||||||
