SOME STUFF
106: With no previous advancement criteria, Santino Edgar (CBA) is at the #3 seed. Make no mistakes about it, the freshman is the favorite here. #1 Capodanno (Monroe) was 5th in the Region last year. He majored #2 Parani, 9-1, during the opening weekend at the Robin Leff. Parani defeated #4 Viscido, 1-0, in a dual meet. Viscido pinned #6 Apicelli back in early January. #5 Jani has bonus wins over the #6, #7, #9, and #10 seeds.

113: Many people feel the two best wrestlers in this weight are #1 Johnston (Howell) and #4 Joyce (CBA), who also has no previous advancement to assist his seed. As a result, Johnston and Joyce look like they're on a collision course for a semifinal meeting. #2 Napolitano (Brick Mem) defeated #3 Carrillo-Solano (Wall) twice at the SCT by a 7-0 score.

120: #1 Hernandez (Seton Hall) has had a fantastic freshman campaign. He majored #2 DiMatteo (CBA) in early January, and majored #7 Vieira (Long Branch) and decisioned #5 Corino (Pt Boro), 4-2, at Districts. DiMatteo was 4th at States at 106 last season. He teched #6 Messinger in the D21 final. #3 Michaels (Colts Neck) is looking for his 3rd title. He teched #4 Maghan (Howell) in the D22 final. Maghan, a returning State qualifier, wrestled up at 126 & 132 during the regular season. His only win against anyone in the bracket is a 10-0 major over #11 Jarosz (Wall). Corino defeated Messinger, 9-4, in a dual on 2/7. He also has a pair of wins over #7 Vieira.

126: The 2025 State Champion at 120, #1 Kenny (CBA) is an enormous favorite here and it looks like it's a battle for the remaining podium spots (if they use a podium). Howell freshman #2 Elliott has a pin and a tech over #3 Repetti (Manalapan), a tech over #6 Penta (Ocean Twp), and a major over #7 Kovacs (Jackson Twp). Repetti pinned #4 Viola (Seton Hall), a 2-time State qualifier, in the D24 final. #5 Marasco (Northern Burlington) pinned Penta in the D23 final. Kovacs defeated Penta, but Penta defeated #9 Kerstetter, who defeated Kovacs, creating a seeding triangle.

132: There were some questions about the schedule of the undefeated #1 Ham (Lawrence), who placed 3rd at Regions last year, but he answered a lot of critics with a D21 title win that culminated with an 18-13 win over #2 Saito (CBA) in the finals. Saito has 2 wins against #3 Morero (Seton Hall), including a pin. There's another seeding triangle here as #6 Giangeruso (Northern Burlington) pinned #4 Perez (Ocean Twp) in the D23 semis, but #7 Cavallo (Monroe) pinned Giangeruso in the final, and Perez defeated Cavallo in an early January dual, allowing Perez, a returning State qualifier, to hold onto the 4-seed.

138: #1 Volek (Ocean Twp), a 2-time State qualifier, has wins over #2 Pazinko (Jackson Twp), a 3-time State qualifier, #3 Caponegro (Monroe), & #4 Novoa (Bordentown). Pazinko pinned #5 Dutton (CBA) in the D21 final. Caponegro pinned Novoa in the D23 semis.

144: #1 Duffy (CBA), 5th in the state last season, is a pinning machine and is murder on top. He pinned #2 McCann (Jackson Twp), 8th at States last year, in the D21 final. He's a big favorite here.

150: #1 Sakoutis (CBA) is going for his 2nd title. He teched potential semifinal opponent #4 Pocius (Seton Hall) in the Groups. #2 Little (Howell), a freshman, decisioned #3 Quinn (Wall), a State qualifier in 2024, 8-4 in the D22 final.

157: BRACKET WAS RESEEDED

165: A 2-time State medal winner, #1 Clayton (Pt Boro) is looking for his first Region title. He defeated #2 Boyer (CBA), a Region champ last season, 10-7 in the Shore Conference Tournament finals. Clayton also won by tech over #3 Papa (Seton Hall), a returning State qualifier, in the D24 finals. Gonna be tough to break the top 3 seeds here.

175: #1 Oizerowitz (CBA) is a 2-time champ, and a 2-time State medalist. He already has bonus wins over the #2, #3, and #4 seeds in this bracket, and is a strong favorite to claim his 3rd title in 3 years.

190: There may have been some sighs of relief when Howell's Tanner Hodgins, who was the overwhelming favorite to run through this bracket, decided to go up to 215 for the postseason. While Long Branch's Tornick Kajaia, a 3-time State qualifier, is a strong pick to roll through the top bracket, the bottom half of the bracket could be quite the battle. #2 O'Rourke (Howell) is no slouch assuming the 190 spot in place of Hodgins. He qualified for States as a freshman up at 215 last season, and has formed one of the state's best 1-2 upperweight punches with Hodgins. #3 O'Neill (CBA) also advanced to AC last season. The potential semifinal bout against O'Rourke could be one of the more anticipated semis.

215: Looking from afar throughout the season, the potential final of #2 Palumbo (CBA) vs #3 Salerno (Seton Hall) was one you wrote down in pencil as likely to happen. Things changed with #1 Hodgins (Howell) deciding to go 215 for the postseason, and now that potential final looks like it will come a round earlier, barring a major upset. Palumbo placed 6th at States at 215 last season, while Salerno has medaled twice in AC at 215. The two faced each other in early January in the Catholic School Duals, with Palumbo winning 11-6. As for Hodgins, the two-time State medal winner is still looking for his first Region title. Simply put, it will take an upset of all upsets, to keep him from the finals.

Hwt: This one looks to be wide open. #1 Jean (Neptune), is a returning State qualifier. He's the only one in the bracket to advance past WB1 in this Region. However, to give a feel how open this weight might be, #12 Nevins (Ocean Twp) defeated #5 Horton (Ewing) in the D23 semis. #5 Horton defeated Jean, 7-3, a week before the Districts. Nevins lost to #8 Freeman (Burlington Twp) in the D23 final. Freeman lost to #7 Spencer (Lawrence), who lost to #2 Chitacapa (Jackson Twp) who lost to #4 Clauburg (Wall), who lost twice to Jean. Then there's #3 Nieto (Freehold Boro) who lost to #6 Laquara (Allentown), whosplit with #10 Loussaint (Nottingham) who lost to Hammerstone (Notre Dame) (who was eliminated in the D21 quarters) but was beaten a few weeks ago by #14 Micheletti (Pt Beach), who also lost twice to Jean. Got all that?

SHORE STUFF

Asbury Park - 0 Champs / Last Medal Winner: 2024
1 Qualifier
106: #8 (Fr) Dayln Bunting
The Blue Bishops last medal winner was Iquann Crawford.

Bunting, currently tied for 2nd on the team in wins, opens with #9 Anthony Delpome (Jackson Twp) in an all-Shore matchup between two freshmen.

Brick Memorial - 76 Champs: Streak (14 Seasons)
6 Qualifiers
106: 10 (Fr) Jack Mulligan
113: #2 (Sr) Michael Napolitano
120: #13 (So) Paul DiMatteo
144: #7 (Fr) Lucas Sei
157: #9 (Jr) Jack Marotta
215: #8 (Jr) Brewer Cosgrove
Brick Memorial's 76 champions is the most for any Shore Conference team, and their streak of 14 seasons with a champ is the longest current streak in the Shore.
If Memorial is to extend that streak, someone will need to break seed.

Napolitano is the highest seeded Stang. A 2-time medal winner, Napolitano is in the opposite side of the bracket from the consensus favorites coming into the tournament, #1 Luke Johnston (Howell) and #4 Shiloh Joyce (CBA), meaning he'd have to go through only one of them to reach the top of the podium. He defeated #3 Omar Carrillo-Solano (Wall) twice at the SCT, and also has wins over the #5, #6, #8, #10, #12, and #14 seeds.

Marotta is the only other Mustang with a previous Region appearance. He will open against #8 Jack Watson (Pt Boro).

The Stangs have two freshmen in the tourney in Jack Mulligan and Lucas Sei. Mulligan is at #10 at 106 and will open with #7 Julian Fortunato (Colts Neck). Sei is Memorial's 2nd highest seed, getting the #7 at 144. He will face #10 Justin Ciemis (Lawrence) in the pre-quarters.

Brewer Cosgrove opens his tournament with #9 Jason Turowski (Freehold Twp), who he pinned in Memorial's dual win over the Patriots. The winner will get top seed #1 Tanner Hodgins (Howell).

Brick Twp - 16 Champs: Last (2020) / Last Medal Winner: 2020
4 Qualifiers
132: #12 (Jr) Lucas D'Elia
165: #9 (Jr) Finnegan Leonard
175: #10 (Sr) David Marzetti
215: #4 (Sr) Aidan Leonard
Evan Tallmadge, who will be in action this weekend wrestling for Pitt in the ACC Tournament, is both the last medal winner and champion for Brick, reaching the top of the podium in 2020 before transferring crosstown to Brick Memorial.

Aidan Leonard is the highest seeded Dragon, getting the #4 at 215, and likely representing Brick's best shot at getting to the boardwalk. Leonard has only faced two other wrestlers in his 12-man bracket, defeating #9 Jason Turowski (Freehold Twp) and losing to #1 Tanner Hodgins (Howell) in the D22 final.

CBA - 50 Champs: Streak (6 Seasons)

120: #2 (Jr) Sonny DiMatteo
126: #1 (Jr) Paul Kenny
132: #2 (Jr) Teag Saito

157: #1 (Sr) James Jakub
165: #2 (Sr) Brendan Boyer
175: #1 (Jr) Brock Oizerowitz
190: #3 (Sr) Jarred O'Neill
215: #2 (Sr) Tyler Palumbo
CBA's 50 champions is the 4th most in the Shore Conference, and the most for any Monmouth County program.

The Colts 13 qualifiers is tied with Southern for the most in the Shore Conference this season. Their 5 #1 seeds is the most in the Shore.

Robert Duffy, Paul Kenny, and Brock Oizerowitz are going for their 3rd titles. Duffy will be going for his 4th medal.

Tyler Palumbo, Brendan Boyer, James Jakub, and Will Sakoutis are going for their 2nd titles. It would be the 3rd medal for Palumbo and Boyer.

Sonny DiMatteo will also be going for his 3rd medal, and his first with the Colts.

CBA will have 3 freshmen in the tournament, all are seeded in the top 5 despite no previous advancement criteria.

Santino Edgar, who most consider to be the favorite at 106, is seeded #3. Shiloh Joyce, ranked #4 in the state, is at the #4 seed in the same half-bracket as the top-seeded Luke Johnston (Howell) who is ranked #3 in the state, setting up what many thought would be the final, for the semis. Cael Dutton is the #5 at 138. He opens with #12 Maksim Marrero (Seton Hall) who he split a pair of bouts against during the regular season.

Colts Neck - 9 Champs: Streak (2 Seasons)
8 Qualifiers
106: #7 (Jr) Julian Fortunato
120: #3 (Sr) Ethan Michaels
138: #11 (Jr) Nicholas Zecchino
150: #9 (Sr) Brody Kaplan
157: #4 Matthew Anderson - WITHDRAW
165: #7 (Sr) Dean Natale
190: #11 (Jr) Nicholas Jannucci
215: #11 (Sr) Michael Aydin
Ethan Michaels is attempting to become the program's first ever 3-time champ. He is seeded 3rd in the 120-pound bracket. The #2 is Sonny DiMatteo (CBA) who placed 4th in the state last season. DiMatteo was jumped for the #1 by freshman Noah Hernandez (Seton Hall) who majored DiMatteo back in early January.

Matt Anderson is a returning medalist. He is #4 at 157 and will open with Manasquan's Torrin Tracey, who he has defeated twice this season by scores of 12-8 and 13-10.

This is the 4th tournament for Dean Natale, who won his first District title last weekend. He will face the D21 champ in the quarters, #2 Brendan Boyer (CBA), who was the Region champ at 157 last year.

Julian Fortunato opens with #10 Jack Mulligan (Brick Memorial). Fortunato will look to avenge a pinfall loss to Mulligan from the Shore Conference Tournament. The winner will face the #2 seed, Greg Parani (Pt Boro).

Brody Kaplan will also be looking to avenge an earlier defeat in his opener as he faces #8 Luke Renna (Pt Boro) who defeated him 10-3 back in December in the TCNJ Pride finals. The winner gets top-seeded Will Sakoutis (CBA).

Freehold Boro - 6 Champs: Last (2020) / Last Medal Winner: 2025
2 Qualifiers
144: #11 (Sr) Josh Gomez
Hwt: #3 (Sr) Onesimo Nieto
Nico Messina is the Colonials' last champion, winning the final of his 3 titles in 2020.

Onesimo Nieto is seeded in the money, getting the #3 at heavyweight where he will open with Pt Beach's Allan Micheletti. The winner of that bout will face #6 Nicholas Laquara (Allentown) who defeated Nieto in the D24 final.

Josh Gomez enters the tournament as a replacement for Manalapan's Chase Zardavets. Gomez, seeded #11 will face #6 Xavier Moy (Burlington Twp) in the pre-quarters.

Freehold Twp - 4 Champs: Last (2001) / Last Medal Winner: 2025
2 Qualifiers
150: #14 (Sr) Brandon Liss
215: #9 (So) Jason Turowski
The Patriots last champion was Rob Morello, back in 2001. Only Manasquan (1980) & Monmouth Regional (0 champs) have gone longer.

This is the first Region appearance for both Liss & Turowski.

Turowski will try and avenge a loss from January 31st to #8 Brewer Cosgrove (Brick Memorial) who pinned him in a dual meet. The winner of that bout gets top seeded Tanner Hodgins of Howell.

Liss drew #3 Parker Quinn of Wall, a 4th place finisher in 2024 and 5th place finisher last year, in his opening bout.

Howell - 43 Champs: Last (2023) / Last Medal Winner: 2025
11 Qualifiers
106: #5 (Fr) Justin Jani
113: #1 (Jr) Luke Johnston
120: #4 (Jr) Shane Maghan
126: #2 (Fr) Sean Elliott
132: #8 (Sr) Will Stapleton
138: #14 (Fr) Trevor Hodgins
150: #2 (Fr) Brady Little
165: #8 (Sr) Ray Purrelli
175: #2 (Jr) Tyler Going
190: #2 (So) Timmy O'Rourke
215: #1 (Jr) Tanner Hodgins
The Rebels have not had a champ since Xavier Ortega & DJ Henry won in 2023. That's a long time in Howell seasons.

Juniors, Luke Johnston & Tanner Hodgins both received top seeds. Hard to believe, but both wrestlers, who have medaled each year, have yet to win Region titles.

Johnston looks to have the tougher path. He'll open with D24 champ Vincenzo Baldino (Allentown) in the quarterfinals. A win there, and he'll most likely face CBA's talented freshman #4 Shiloh Joyce in the semis. Johnston & Joyce are ranked 3rd and 4th respectively in the Full Circle State Rankings.

Hodgins is not expected to be really tested until the finals where he will likely face either #2 Tyler Palumbo (CBA), returning 215-pound R6 champ, and a state medal winner, or #3 Rocco Salerno (Seton Hall Prep), who was the R4 champ at 215 last season, and a 2-time State medalist.

The trio of Tyler Going, Shane Maghan, and Timmy O'Rourke are all going for their 2nd medals.
Going's best wins in this bracket are a pair of falls over #5 Nicholas Allen (Ocean Twp) and a pair of techs over #9 Alan Bagagem (Wall). He was majored in the SCT final by #1 Brock Oizerowitz (CBA).

If the seeds hold, Maghan will face #5 Jaxin Corino (Pt Boro) in the quarters. Maghan defeated Corino, 7-4, in sudden victory in the Blood Round of last year's tournament.

The 22 champ O'Rourke is opening with the D23 champ, #7 Jacob Kramer in the quarterfinals.

The Rebels have 4 freshmen in the tournament: Justin Jani, Sean Elliott, Trevor Hodgins, and Brady Little.

Elliott and Little each received #2 seeds. Elliott has defeated the #3 (twice), #6, #7, #9, #10, & #11, all by major or better. Little has wins over the #3 & #9. Jani has defeated the #6, #7, #9, & #10.

Armani McCann is a returning champion and a 2-time medal winner. He is seeded 2nd behind CBA's Bobby Duffy. The two met in last week's D21 final with Duffy winning by fall.

Tucker Pazinko is a 3-time medalist and is also seeded 2nd. He's matched up in District champ vs District champ quarter bout with #7 JP Sanders (Manasquan)

1 Qualifier
106: #13 (So) Pablo Valencia
The Piners last champion was Matt Rizzo in 2005, who won his 2nd title. Their last medal winner was Dante Morris, a 2-time medalist.

Pablo Valencia will be in action against #4 Alexander Viscido (Robbinsville), the D21 runner-up.

Long Branch - 39 Champs: Last (2020) / Last Medal Winner: 2025
5 Qualifiers
120: #7 (Jr) Jordan Vieira
138: #8 (So) Tristen Hepburn

The Green Wave's last champion was in 2020 when Ryan Zimmerman won his 2nd title.
Their 39 champions is 7th most all-time in the Shore Conference, and 3rd most in Monmouth County.

Top-seeded Tornick Kajaia is a 3-time medalist, and 2-time finalist. He was a win away from a medal in AC last season.

Jordan Vieira was a win away from AC last season. He opens with #10 William Huchko (Jackson Twp), who he pinned in a dual meet earlier this season. A win there, and he'll face the #2 seed, Sonny DiMatteo of CBA.

D24 Champ Tristen Hepburn opens against D23 Champ, and top seed, Dom Volek (Ocean Twp).

Fredy Morales came from the 7-seed at Districts to place 2nd. He'll face #7 Mickhorlsku Odige (Steinert) in the pre-quarters. The two met in the Sectional semis, with Odige winning by fall.

Manalapan - 26 Champs: Last (2013) / Last Medal Winner: 2025

165: #11 (Sr) William Vargas
190: #5 (Sr) Donny Tibbitt

Donnie Tibbitt is in his 3rd Region tournament, while Gage Grant and Justin Repetti are in their 2nd.

Grant is looking for a return trip to Boardwalk Hall after placing 4th at Regions last season. Repetti is the Braves' highest seed. He has wins over the #4, #9, #11, & 13 seeds.

Manasquan - 6 Champs: Last (1980) / Last Medal Winner: 2025
5 Qualifiers
113: #7 (Jr) Shea Tracey
126: #9 (Jr) Shane Kerstetter
132: #13 (Sr) Donovan Havard
138: #7 (So) JP Sanders
157: #11 (Jr) Torrin Tracey
It has been 46 years since the Warriors' last Region champ (Dave Crabtree & Scott Simek). It is the 2nd longest drought in the Shore. The Warriors have 5 entrants in this year's tournament to take another run at getting off the snide.

Shea Tracey and JP Sanders are the Warriors' two highest seeds, at #7.

Tracey, a 6th place finisher last season, will face #10 Michael Farrell (Manalapan) in the opening round. The two split a pair of bouts this season, with Farrell winning 8-3 in an early January dual, while Tracey won a rematch by fall in the SCT quarters.

Sanders, who won the D22 title, opens with the D21 champ, #2 Tucker Pazinko (Jackson Twp).

Shane Kerstetter is making his 3rd Region appearance. He faces #8 Lincoln Samonski (Nottingham), who is also in his 3rd Region tournament, the pre-quarters. The winner gets #1 Paul Kenny (CBA).

1 Qualifier
Hwt: #1 (Sr) Jarairya Jean
The Scarlet Fliers have not had a Region champ since Dae'Sean Brown and John Seidle both won titles in 2013. They have a great opportunity to get back to the top of the podium with their top-seeded heavyweight, Jarairya Jean.

This is Jean's 3rd Region appearance. He placed 4th last season to move on to States. Jean, the Shore Conference Tournament runner-up, has a pair of wins over the #4 and #14 seeds, but suffered a 7-3 loss to the #5 seed, Cephus Horton (Ewing) a week before the Districts.

Ocean Township - 25 Champs: Last (2024) / Last Medal Winner: 2025
10 Qualifiers
106: #6 (Jr) Michael Apicelli
113: #14 (So) Qays Ismael
126: #6 (Sr) Justin Penta

Dom Volek, is a 2-time medal winner and looking for his 1st Region title. The top seed at 138, he has wins this season against the #2, #3 (twice), and #4 seeds.

Steven Perez is in his 3rd tournament, and is looking for his 2nd medal after placing 3rd last season. He'll open in the pre-quarters with #13 JP Sanders (Manasquan).

Also in his 3rd Region is Josh Calixte. He's in the 8/9 pre-quarter against Pt Boro's Aiden Willson with the winner facing #1 Tornick Kajaia (Long Branch).

Justin Penta, who placed 5th in 2024, will face #11 Brandon Stizza (Pt Beach) with the winner getting #3 Justin Repetti (Manalapan).
Jake Volek, Justin Farina, and Nicholas Allen, all received #5 seeds. They each won titles at last week's Districts.

Volek will open with the D24 champ, #4 Michael Pocius (Seton Hall). Farina will take on the winner of #5 Finley Pazinko (Jackson Twp) and #12 Anthony DiSano (Shore). Farina decisioned Pazinko, 12-8, back in January. Allen will meet the winner of #4 Akbar Nazurdinov (Jackson Twp), who majored him in a dual meet, and #13 Yidan Wong (Monroe).

Pt Beach - 10 Champs: Last (2017) / Last Medal Winner: 2025

144: #15 (So) Jaxon Bowers
Hwt: #14 (Jr) Allan Micheletti
The Gulls 3 qualifiers is their most since they had 4 in 2023. There's an uphill climb as all three Gulls were seeded in the bottom four.

Brandon Stizza will face #6 Justin Penta (Ocean Twp) in his opener. Penta was a 5th place finisher in the Region in 2024. Jaxon Bowers will take on #2 Armani McCann (Jackson Twp). McCann is a returning champion and placed 8th at States last season. Allan Micheletti goes up against #3 Onesimo Nieto (Freehold Boro) in his pre-quarter bout.

Pt Boro - 23 Champs: Streak (2 Seasons)
9 Qualifiers
106: #2 (Fr) Greg Parani
120: #5 (So) Jaxin Corino
132: #15 (Sr) Chase Eckert
144: #9 (Jr) Maxwell Puglisi
150: #8 (Sr) Luke Renna
157: #8 (Sr) Jack Watson
165: #1 (Jr) Jake Clayton
175: #8 (Sr) Talan Ronckovitz
190: #9 (Jr) Aiden Willson
Boro has sent multiple wrestlers to States for 4 consecutive seasons. They had 4 finalists in last year's tournament.

Jake Clayton, a 2-time State medalist, is a 2-time Region finalist, but still trying to lock down that elusive title. He was the Shore Conference Tournament Champion at 165 this year, defeating #2 Brendan Boyer (CBA) in the final, 10-7. He tech-falled the #3 seed Brandon Papa (Seton Hall) in last week's D24 final.

Greg Parani is the #2 at 106. He will open in the quarters with the winner of #7 Julian Fortunato (Colts Neck) and #10 Jack Mulligan (Brick Memorial). A win in that match, and he's lined up to most likely face CBA's #3 Santino Edgar, in what would be a meeting between two of the Shore's top freshmen.

Jaxin Corino is the Panthers' next highest seeded wrestler, getting the #5 at 120. He was a 5th place finisher in last year's tournament. He could potentially face #4 Shane Maghan (Howell) in the quarters. Maghan defeated Corino in last year's 113-pound Blood Round.

It is the 2nd Region appearance for Corino, as it is for Luke Renna, who will be in the 8/9 bout against Colts Neck's Brody Kaplan, who Renna defeated 10-3 in the TCNJ Pride finals.

Shore - 4 Champs: Last (2020) / Last Medal Winner: 2022
3 Qualifiers
144: #8 (So) Christopher Gifford
157: #12 (Jr) Anthony DiSano
190: #4 (Jr) Cole Torres
The Blue Devils are looking for their first champion since Al DeSantis & Michael McGhee won titles in 2020, and their first medal winner since Gabe Scalise and Jamie Mazzacco placed 2nd in 2022.

Cole Torres will be participating in his 3rd Region tournament. He is seeded in the money at #4 and will open with #13 Jose Samayoa-Rodas (Steinert).

Christopher Gifford will be in his first tournament and will face #9 Maxwell Puglisi of Pt Boro, with the winner moving on to face #1 Bobby Duffy (CBA).

Wall - 32 Champs: Last (2024) / Last Medal Winner: 2024
7 Qualifiers
113: #3 (Sr) Omar Carrillo-Solano
120: #11 (Jr) Bryson Jarosz
144: #4 (So) Michael Boulard
150: #3 (Jr) Parker Quinn
157: #3 (Jr) Jeremy Marsella
175: #9 (So) Alan Bagagem
Hwt: #4 (Sr) Eric Clauburg
Wall is coming off a rare year without a medal winner. 5 of their 7 entrants in this year's tournament are seeded in the top 4, presenting the Crimson Knights with a great chance to get back to the boardwalk.

Omar Carrillo-Solano, Parker Quinn, and Jeremy Marsella all earned #3 seeds. This is the 3rd tournament for Carrillo-Solano whose previous advancement gets him seeded ahead of CBA's talented freshman #4 Shiloh Joyce. Carrillo-Solano opens with #14 Qays Ismael (Ocean Twp).

Quinn, was a State qualifier in 2024, his only matches this season against anyone in the bracket is a pin in the SCT over #9 Brody Kaplan (Colts Neck), and an 8-4 loss to #2 Brady Little (Howell) in the D22 final.

Marsella qualified for the Regions as a freshman in 2024, but was knocked out of the Districts in the quarters last season. During the season, Marsella went 2-1 against #4 Matthew Anderson (Colts Neck). He also majored #5 Justin Farina (Ocean Twp), and decisioned #6 Finley Pazinko (Jackson Twp).

This is the 2nd Region appearance for Michael Boulard, who lost in the Blood Round last season, Eric Clauburg, and Bryson Jarosz.

Boulard, the D22 champ, will face the D24 champ, #5 Tyler Yildiz (Seton Hall), in the quarters. Clauburg takes on #13 Nickolas Soria (Long Branch) in the pre-quarters, while Jarosz will open with #6 Lucas Messinger (Robbinsville), a 3-time Region qualifier who placed 6th last season.
