The Bengals have multiple Region qualifiers for the 2nd straight year, and are looking for their first medal winner since Griffin Jackstadt won the first Region title in program history in 2020.

The Golden Eagles have multiple underclassmen in the Regions for the first time since Brian Powers and Nick Tenpenny were in as sophomores in 2005. Their four qualifiers are their most since they had seven in 2020.

The Colts have had 37 Region Champions in their history, which is the 7th most all-time in the Shore Conference. 14 of those championships have come in the previous two seasons. 

Two of those championships have come from senior Alex Nini, who will attempt to join Dave Santamaria, Richie Koehler, and Julian George as the 4th wrestler in program history with three Region titles. 

The trio of Killian Coluccio, Paul Kenny, and Brock Oizerowitz will take aim at joining Santamaria, Koehler, and Bobby Duffy as the only freshmen to win Region titles at CBA.

Lacey has had multiple Top 4 finishers at Regions in each of the last three seasons. Led by junior Brendan Schuler and senior Matt Gauthier, who are making their third Region appearances, the Lions have half of their lineup at the tournament for the 2nd time in three years.

Manchester has multiple Region qualifiers for the 5th time in 6 seasons. Junior Dante Mortellite, a Top 5 finisher last year, earned the highest seed for the Hawks (5th at 190), who are looking for the 2nd State Qualifier since 2017.

 

 Pinelands: 15 Champions (Last: 2017) /  Last Medal Winner: 2023

 

1 Qualifier: 165: #12 (Jr) Jacob Greenberg (16-6)

This is the 13th season in a row in which Pinelands has had at least one Region qualifier. Junior Jacob Greenberg will try and make it three seasons in a row for the Wildcats with a State Qualifier.

The Lancers, who have had 16 medal winners in the last two Regions, have had at least one Region Champion in each of the last eight tournaments. All but 2 of their 16 total championships have come during that span. Juniors Anthony Knox, who enters the tournament with 99 career wins, and Patrick O'Keefe can become the first Lancers in program history to win three Region Titles.

The Rams bring their entire lineup to this year's tournament after setting program highs last season with 7 champions and 12 medal winners. They lead the field with four #1 seeds and eleven "money seeds" (1-4). The Rams 7 titles last year upped their all-time total to 61, 2nd most in the Shore Conference behind only Brick Memorial, who has 72, and 8 ahead of 3rd-best Jackson Memorial.

Returning State Champion Matt Henrich and junior Wyatt Stout, who is currently at 96 career wins, are gunning for their third Region Titles, joining Conor Collins, Kyle Casaletto, Glenn Carson, Frank Molinaro, and Luke Lanno as Ram 3-timers. (Note: Molinaro was a 4-timer, but the first came at Middletown North).

Returning Placers: James Lynch (2nd: 2023)

Top-seeded, undefeated heavyweight James Lynch leads the way for the Raiders, who have multiple representatives at the Regions for the 10th straight season. They are looking to extend their current streak of 9 straight years with at least one medal winner.

Lynch is looking to join 2-time champ Adam Henig, Kevin Davis, and Tom Rioux as Region heavyweight champs for East, who have had 36 Region Champs in their history; the 8th most in Shore Conference history.

Returning Placers: Joe Dolci (3rd: 2023 / 4th: 2022)

The Mariners have gone seven seasons in a row with at least one Region medal winner. Senior Joe Dolci has helped continue that streak, reaching Top 4 podium level the last two seasons. He enters the tournament three wins away from 100 career victories.

Returning Placers: Caden Langan (6th: 2023)

The Indians, whose 41 Region Champions is 5th best in the Shore Conference, will be have multiple participants at the tournament for the third straight year. Caden Langan is making his 3rd straight Region appearance, while Owen Beneciuk and Mike Devivi make their first, for a South team looking for their first State Qualifier since Justin Murray in 2020.
