His quarterfinal opponent is already set, as he takes on #8 Garrett Prendergast of Highland, the D26 Champion. At #2 is Donovan's Dezmond Lenaghan, who finished 2nd to Carter at the D25 Tournament. Lenaghan will face #15 Scottie Sari of Southern in the pre-quarters. The winner of that match gets D28 Champ, Aundre Hill of Paulsboro.

At the #4 seed is Lacey's Aidan Ott, who will take on Delran's #13 Sean Meldrum. At #5 is TR South's Ray Gardner who will face #12 Alex Hurly of Haddonfield. If Ott and Gardner win those openers, they would face each other in the Quarters.

PREDICTION: Stout (Southern)

132: Led by the #1 seed, Samuel Kotch of Cinniminson, the top 5 seeds here have all made the Regions each year of the careers, four seniors and one junior, making this a pretty experienced up top. The Shore follows that experienced group of five, with the 6th, 7th, and 9th seeds, all making their first Region appearances. At #6 & #7 are freshmen #6 Hayden Hochstrasser of Southern, and #7 Caden Langan of TR South. Hochstrasser, the D25 Champ gets D27 Champ, #3 Jake Hastings of Shawnee in the Quarters, while Langan faces #10 Daniel Bogardus of Seneca in the pre-Quarters. PREDICTION: DeFulvio (Holy Cross)

144: #1 seed Chase Casey is a 2-time Region medal winner, finishing 3rd in 2020, and 2nd in 2021. 2nd-seeded Austin Craft of Rancocas Valley finished 6th in the Region last year. He is slated to meet #2 Izaiah Otero of Highland, the D26 Champ, in the Quarterfinals.

PREDICTION: Clark (Camden Catholic)

175: The #1 seed is Michael Gregg of Collingswood, who finished 4th in the South Region last season. At #3 is Manchester's Matt Bryant, who was a D25 co-Outstanding Wrestler. Bryant could face #6 Collin French of Southern in the Quarters, if French can defeat #11 Youssef Rafeh of Pennsauken in the pre-Quarters.
