The numbers at Asbury Park have been trending up (and I'm not just talking about at the prices at the restaurants!), due to the hard work that has been put in down at the feeder level. Things are trending upwards at that level and as as result, there's a large influx of youth with accomplished backgrounds into the program this year. With just a handful of seniors, this will be a young lineup, especially down low, where it is mostly freshmen and sophomores. The Blue Bishops do have a 4-year starter returning in that group of lowerweights in senior Matelson Louisius, who is coming off a 20 win season. He'll be looked to provide some leadership to the young group. There's some excitement around the young guys coming in down low. Dayln Bunting and Wickenley Milien were both division champions at the middle school level, and Nathan Enelus placed 5th at the MAWA Eastern Nationals.

The Bishops do have experience returning up top with five starters returning. Seniors Lorenzo Castellon, and Prince Gue, a 21 match winner last year, along with juniors Likerson Garius and Isaias Villa provide a nice veteran core up top as Asbury breaks in a couple new faces around them. Among those new faces could be very promising freshman Jaydin Handy, who placed 3rd at Intermediate States last year. This has the potential to be a very good group of uppers for Asbury.

The Bishops should be very competitive against teams of their program's size, and the upperweights could do a lot of damage for them in duals. If the youngsters down low come along, a full lineup is going to help them rack up some wins this season and be competitive in the H-Division race.
