Head Coach: Jake George (1st Season)
B-North / CJG3 / District 19 / Region 5

Where They Open: 12/14 vs Matawan
Opening Tournament: 12/16 - Gateway Tournament

Former Long Branch standout Jacob George is the new head coach at Red Bank, the school where his uncle Danny began his Hall of Fame wrestling career.

With six starters back, there is a lot of experience returning in the bottom half of the lineup. Kevin Ruland is coming off 32-win sophomore season and finished2nd at Districts. Two more starters returning in the lower half that were a part of last year's promising freshmen class are Jack Galligan and Jason Huss, who was a 22-match winner last season. There's a trio of returning seniors also in Melvin Lopez Castro, CJ Principe, and Dom Sena. Sena is a 4-year starter and enters the season with 57 career wins.

Tyler Palumbo was another member of that freshmen class, and was one of the top young upperweights in the Shore last season, compiling 32 wins. Palumbo placed 2nd at Districts, 6th at Regions, and finished 4th at the Shore Conference Tournament. Last season was senior Evan Eckstrom's first year in the lineup. He recorded 18 wins and was also 2nd at Districts and 6th at Regions. This pair gives the Bucs a solid duo to build several newcomers to the lineup around.

The Bucs have a some pretty good talent returning from last year's team spread throughout the lineup, which will be helpful as they break the newcomers into the mix. There are some seniors in the lineup, especially up top, but it will be interesting to see how far along the now sophomore class comes along as they can be laying the foundation for some pretty nice seasons to come for RBR.
